Summary | 0002944: Viewing a bot being killed with a ice weapon and shatter before respawn messes coop spy up | ||||||||||||
Description | I was watching a botmatch with one of my weapon mods. One of the weapons can freeze-kill enemies (DamageType Ice). I'm coop-spying one of the bots during this match and if this bot gets freeze-killed with a ice weapon and shatter (being shot with a non-ice attack), before the bot respawn, the coop spy resets while the HUD still shows this bot's stats. | ||||||||||||
Steps To Reproduce | Without the provieded map: - Grab the WAD provided here and start Zandronum with it. - Start a deathmatch in a map with plasma rifles as a spectator. - Add some bots. - View one of the bots via coop spy. - Wait for this bot being killed with a ice attack and shot down. With the provieded map (PlasmaRiflesOnly.wad): - Grab the WAD's provided here and start Zandronum with it. - Type in the console "deathmatch 1" and "map PLSMAROM". - Add some bots via "addbot". - View one of the bots via coop spy. - Wait for this bot being killed with a ice attack and shot down. | ||||||||||||
Additional Information | This can take a LOT of time because being frozen and shot before respawning happens very rarely. I can't confirm that this can happen with players online, too. But maybe it's the same case. | ||||||||||||
